Storage:

  • Store cinnamon in an airtight container in a cool, dark place, away from light and heat. You can extend cinnamon´s shelf life by storing it in the refrigerator.

Portioning:

  • One stick of cinnamon = 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. The typical recommended dose is 1 to 4 grams daily of ground cinnamon.

How to use when cooking:

  • You can add cinnamon during cooking or baking to really add flavor to your dish. The aroma will not be lost, but taken on. Cinnamon sticks are also often used to garnish and decorate dishes.

Recipe Recommendation

Cinnamon Chicken

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Combine ground cinnamon, seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Sprinkle the meat all over with the mixture and place it in a roasting dish.

Bake 30-40 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink. Served best with a fresh garden salad.
